             Arantza Pardo is an artist based in Sheffield who currently is hosting her most ambitious

solo show 'The Unknown' at Yorkshire Artspace (Persistence Works). 

               She accomplished her Masters Degree in Painting at the University of Porto, Portugal

and Sheffield Hallam University. She just finished an art residency at S1 Artspace, Sheffield.

                Her recent exhibitions include: Flat+Earth curated by Joanna Whittle at Sidney
and Matilda, Sheffield; Una Colectiva at Galeria Álvaro Alcazar, Madrid, Spain; Masters
Salon Painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium; Medir o tempo
e contar o espaço at Galeria Ap´Arte, Porto, Portugal; Creators of Legends, curated by
Cesar Oropeza and Carlos Arenas at XLVI Festival Internacional Cervantino, Mexico.

              Additionally, she has collaborated with doctors in cosmology, astrophysics and
chemistry. Recently she has published the article ‘Hilma af Klint, presencia y ausencia
en el último arte’ as part of the book Painting and research. Reflexions beyond
Thinking and Practice.

             The countries she has exhibited include the UK, Spain, Portugal, Belgium,
Switzerland, Germany, Argentina and México. Her work can be found in private and
public collections.
